| FoSHoL-ActionAid organized foundation course for its team members |

ActionAid Bangladesh, one of the implementing NGOs of FoSHoL, a project funded by European Commission (EC) and coordinated by IRRI recently organized a 8-week foundation training for its 58 field workers representing 6 local partner NGOs namely, Zibika, Uttaran, JJSO, Speed Trust, NRDS and VARD working in Kurigram, Satkhira, Khulna, Patuakhali, Noiakhali and Sunamganj respectively.
Nine FoSHoL-ActionAid core team members facilitated the training along with few external facilitators.
The participants were exposed to wide range of technologies potential for their diversified working areas including the PETRRA innovated ones during this foundation training.
These include hands on training on various issues like vegetable production, rice-fish culture, livestock, poultry rearing etc. beside many other social and organizational issues.
The other implementing NGOs of FoSHoL project are CARE Bangladesh and Practical Action Bangladesh (former ITDG). |
